my copy has the inner sleeve with lyrics not plain white inner, also the "SLANG " appears first on the spine followed by EFA second and this LP was purchased in the UK so its perhaps a European LP rather than Germany.4/5.

Hole was an American alternative rock band formed by singer and guitarist Courtney Love and lead guitarist Eric Erlandson in Los Angeles, California in Influenced by Los Angeles' punk rock scene, and produced by Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, the band's debut album, Pretty on the Inside (), attracted critical interest from British and American alternative press.

With the assistance of producers Kim Gordon and Don Fleming, Hole recorded a brutally uncompromising debut with Pretty on the koireterssamomsra.pupsuppterganpgnosesanhatmenemarpedd.co jagged white noise and buzzing guitars articulate Courtney Love's pent-up rage as well as her lyrics, and while that might make the album difficult to absorb in one sitting, it also makes it a singular achievement.

"Pretty On The Inside" is the best Hole record--hands down, no question. I wish the band and Courtney had stayed with this purposely crude, in-your-face sound that is not for the faint of heart--as other Amazon reviewers have noted, POTI is "loud", "frightening", "seething with rage" "love it or hate it"--and fabulous as a result. /5(53).
